The Spaw! is much more than your typical day care or boarding facility. Our main focus is your dog; he or she is the most important guest we have. Since we only take 6 dogs for daycare and 6 for boarding per day your canine companion has the luxury of having one of our dog friendly staff be his/her own playmate/valet/nap buddie or personal groomer for their stay with us. Your dog has his/her personal water & food bowl, pillow, blankets and crate.*
Since my husband and I used to rescue geriatric dogs we have a special place in our hearts and at The Spaw! for the older generation. We are a little bit more low key than the average boarding facility so we are better able to give individualized attention to your older dog both in day care and in boarding. We have several regular older boarders that require special diets and that is just fine with us.
A note about crates
*Our crates are large and open so that your dog is not locked up. Crates are used for sleeping and safety only. Your canine companion will never be housed in a crate nor will a crate be used for punishment.
At The Spaw! we use redirection instead of punishment. There are no bad dogs here.
If your dog has been to the vet and has been sedated we offer a safe, quiet comfortable place for them to recuperate, away from the hustle and bustle of other dogs.
Everybody needs a break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life including your canine companion. We have a variety of services available for your best friend to enjoy, including therapeutic massage, aromatherapy baths, hot oil treatments just to name a few. Grooming services are also available.
We also provide vet transportation for the busy individual who can't get off work or fit one more thing into their day. So come on in and join our guests, staff and friends as you wander through our website, and remember you are always welcome to stop by for a visit.
